Fri., May 18...Folk Service...OZ Small Sanctuary...6:00 PM
A special Kabbalat Shabbat Folk Service at OZ. This service includes the musical leadership of Robert Resnik, who joins Rabbi Jan and Rabbi Joshua. In addition to beautiful and joyous singing, our Folk Services include musical instruments such as guitars, drums and recorders as well. Our Folk Services are especially family friendly and are a great hit with babies, toddlers, children of all ages, and adults. After services conclude the entire community is welcome to join us for a potluck vegetarian dinner at the OZ House around the corner from the synagogue on North St.

Join us to celebrate our graduates. Please bring a dairy/parve dish, salad or beverage to share. Car wash fund raiser afterwards. We'll clean and shine your car for a donation of any amount.

Join us for our last L&L of the season titled "Who was Lilith?" A talk by Ariela Pelaia. According to Jewish legend she was Adam's first wife. She's been calle a temptress, a demon and the first feminist. What do the Talmud, Apocryphal texts and Jewish folklore say about her? Please join us to learn more about the legends and of Lilith. This event is free and open to the public. Donations are always welcome.
Thur., May 31...Oy Vegas Casino Night...OZ Social Hall...7:30 PM
Calling All Chai Rollers (and everyone else). Please join us to play roulette, blackjack, craps, Texas Hold ‘Em, and Wheel of Fortune. $25 per person entrance fee includes $500 in OZ chips. There will a 50/50 raffle and big prizes for big winners. Hot hors d’oeuvres and dessert will be available. All donations support OZ. To participate, as a sponsor a $100 tax-deductible donation, your business/organization will be listed as a sponsor on all of our promotional materials (online and on flyers), and “your table” will feature a framed sheet informing all attendees of your sponsorship.

Please plan to participate in this unique fundraising opportunity. From June 3rd to 14th, we are hosting an online auction to benefit Ohavi Zedek Synagogue.
